Bernardo Rivavelarde is a digital artist and graphic designer. Through his profesional life he has combined both careers.
His exhibitions have been shown in countries such as Spain, Italy, Germany, Mexico, China, Japan, Turkey...
In October 2021 Bernardo presented his latest work Portrait of an Artist at Palacio de Festivales de Cantabria (Santander, Spain).
In 2012 his third exhibition Future Nature, took place at the Museum Prince Felipe at The City of Arts and Sciences (Valencia) and it was visited by more than 1.5 million people.
In art and design he has received major awards such as Prix Ars Electronica (Mention) (Austria), Finalist at Japan Media Art Festival (Tokyo), Mobius Net-Art (Spain), Red Dot Design Award (Germany), Bronce I.D. Interactive International Design Magazine (GB), LAUS (Spain), Cannes Festival Web Award (France), Premios Cámara de Comercio (Spain).

Bernardo has been selected twice by the publisher Taschen as a leading graphic designers in the books Graphic Design for the 21st Century, and Contemporary Graphic DesignRivavelarde has offered lectures and workshops at Udesign Convention (Mexico), Bezalei University (Jerusalem, Israel), Universidad Carlos III (Madrid, Spain), Universidad Politécnica (Valencia), etc. He has been included in the USA Ranker as a personality profile.

Right now Bernardo is working on a new exhibition titled Unknown that will be presented in 2025.
